Explore New Zealand Find your city

Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 November 2026.

This policy covers explorenewzealand.kiwi. Each Explore city site has its own privacy policy for that site.

What we collect

  • Explore Weekly sign-ups: if you sign up, we keep your email address, the city you chose and the date you signed up. We use them only to send you that city’s Explore Weekly email.
  • Basic technical data: like most websites, our server keeps standard logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We may add privacy-friendly visitor statistics; if we do, this page will say so.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your details or share them with other businesses for their marketing. We may use a trusted email service to send Explore Weekly; it only uses your details to deliver our emails.

Unsubscribing and your information

Every Explore Weekly email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Contact us through the contact page on any Explore city site.
